Information We Collect
We may collect account information including your name, email address, username and optional profile photo. During AI practice sessions, voice recordings you choose to submit are processed only for your current training session and are deleted as soon as that session is completed. These recordings are used solely to analyse pronunciation and phraseology, generate AI feedback and improve your learning experience during that session. Voice recordings are never stored for training history, advertising purposes or sold to third parties. We also collect learning data such as completed lessons, practice history, scores, progress statistics, AI usage time and subscription plan. Device and website analytics may include device type, operating system, app version, IP address, language settings, crash reports, browser type, pages visited, time spent on pages, referral source and cookies.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide our services, create and manage your account, deliver AI-powered pronunciation analysis, track your learning progress, improve app performance, respond to customer support requests, process subscriptions, prevent fraud and abuse and meet legal obligations.
AI Voice Processing
Aerophrase uses artificial intelligence to analyse voice recordings during practice sessions. Only the time during which AI is actively analysing your speech counts towards your monthly AI allowance. Your recordings are processed securely for the current training session only and are deleted as soon as that session is completed. They are not stored or sold to third parties.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed securely through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Aerophrase does not collect or store your payment card information. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple or Google in accordance with their privacy policies.
How We Store Your Data
We use secure cloud infrastructure and industry-standard encryption to protect your information. Security measures include encrypted data transmission over HTTPS, secure cloud storage, authentication controls, regular security updates and restricted employee access.
Data Retention
We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide our services. Voice recordings are not stored and are deleted as soon as your current training session is completed. Account information and learning data may be deleted when you delete your account, request deletion, or when we no longer require the information for legitimate business purposes. Some information may be retained where required by law.

We may share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate Aerophrase, including AI processing providers, cloud hosting providers, analytics providers and customer support platforms.
